Today our KIS VEX Robotics team got the base finished along with their launcher. The balls can reach the high net that can score up to 5 points and 10 points for the orange "bonus" balls. Here are some new designs that our creative high school VEX club members started to build. The parallel pillars are actually elevators that can be able to lift things. The current vex game has a rule where if a robot can successfully lift its allies' robot up, the team can earn up to 25 points. Two teams among the VEX club are working on two different bases. Our vex club went to spectate a KIS vex group in the Chadwick Scrimmage. There were at least twenty teams that came from different schools of Korea. Out of those teams, our KIS group got seventh place! Our club has learned a lot from this scrimmage and now has an idea of how the game works by understanding the rules and the level of the other teams. |
