Today our group continued in building and completing each role : Building and Programming The programming group came up with a basic autonomous programming for now. The programming so far can move the robot back and forth. Next club day, the programming group will move on to advanced planning and coordinated movement. The builder group today worked on re-creating the launchers. The larger wheels & the high speed motors were already prepared for the group. The main focus for this group was design and just building experience. Today our club has decided to fully prepare for the new VEX competition in 2016(During Fall). Our club members have completed a checklist to go through before the competition. During the recent competition (Nothing but net), two of our teams' robots have suddenly stopped working due to USB issues. Thankfully one team's robot was operational and succeeded in winning one of the programming awards! Checklist Our club leader has decided to involve all the club members to practice making parts of the robot. The rookies have spectated the building, programming, and competing moments. The first task is to create launchers of any design. (The flywheel is the easiest and most recommended.) Lets go Phoenix! |
