Cortex, cable, vexnetkey and joystick upgrade setup complete- double-check with vexrobotics.com, robotc.net or easyc website at least 2 weeks before the competition.
Final Prep on Competition Day
- Motors/ Fully Charged Battery/Extension
Motors should be working properly and batteries should be fully charged.
Extra motors/Extra battery charger/Extension cord - AAA batteries
A dozen of AAA batteries for the joystick are necessary. - 9V backup battery
9V backup battery with the holder needs to be connected to the cortex. - Team Number Plates/Flags
Team number plate should be placed in the robot with the screw, not with the strip.(two sets of red & blue) - Safety Goggles
At least 3 safety goggles to be prepared. - Tool Box
Bring for fixing the robot during the competition
Plastic Cable zip ties/ Scissors/ Duct Tapes/Permanent Marker - Engineering Notebook
Robot design notebooks written by all members per team should be turned in on the competition day. - Camera
Take photos and videos. Update & post on the webs
Code of Conduct
- Always demonstrate good sportsmanship

- Don’t be depressed about the results, you will have the better chance for next year though this year’s competition experience.
