Our Vex Philosophy
Team #87546A-Team #87546B-Team #87546C
Team #87546D-Team# 87546E
We have five Vex teams from KIS competing in the 2018-2019 Vex Robotics Turning Point: Team #1, #2, #3.
In order to encourage teamwork, efficiency, and trust, team members are subject to change and have the right to move to other teams until the final robots have been constructed for the annual competition. As of now, the KIS Vex club is building robots designed for special functionalities. The designs will differ based on the game objects that the robots will manipulate. For this year's competition, the designs include a lever arm, claw, elevator, etc.
We believe that each member plays a vital part in every step. Teams will inevitably face obstacles while preparing for the competition. Some robots might malfunction just days, hours, or minutes before the competition starts. These problems will require a diversity of ideas and opinions provided by the team members working together to come up with solutions.
Every year, the teams learn to improve upon previous mistakes and evolve into a cohesive group of experienced members. Our club hopes that this year's Vex Robotics Turning Point competition, which is held on early February, would serve as an enriching experience for all members and participants.
