Post Competition Conversations
Overall Progress Our teams have worked very hard for this competition and gave it their all. Sadly, we were unable to make it in the top ten this time. However we were able to learn many things from this competition. First, the issue with the ROBOTC program has been discovered; it was incompatible with the VexNet competition system itself. This was the cause for most of the robots to stop working in the middle. Second was that the new members were able to experience working under pressure. Everybody worked to their fullest to test and fix their robot during the competition. All in all, we still won some awards (shown in picture below), such as the sportsmanship award!! Now that the competitions are done, our club is going to plan out mini events to exercise everyone's robotics skills. Easy C will replace all the programming softwares and will be taught to the programmers and builders will hopefully be able to practice designing and fast-paced building.

Building Progress Team Machina (90% Complete) Game Plan: The robot of team Machina was designed to target the stars specifically. The team is confident that the claw can hold more than one star and will be testing it soon. If possible, the team will also aim for cubes as well.
Everything is finished along with the programming. A few tweaks and checkups will be required on the final week before the tournament. |
