The building process of the bases have continued from last week. Some of the teams have even finished the base and has tested it out to see if the base design works, and it did! Now, to set our sights on the more important part, not to say that movement isn't important. More discussions of how the pick up mechanism works continues. Hopefully we can come up with one that will work and will be not too difficult to build.

Now that the beginners are done with their introduction (building the clawbot and programming it), all of the teams are now ready to work on their own robots. Some teams have even begun building the bases for their robots, while other teams have thought up of ways to pick up cones and built prototypes for what the pickup mechanism will actually look like. The building process will most likely continue on for the next month or so, both in the club and out of the club.
